The HSG Labs Optimizer is a compact, intelligent solution designed to enhance digital cinema performance with minimal intrusion. Mounted discreetly on the back wall of a theatre, this small yet powerful device offers exhibitors a hands-free way to measure, monitor, and maintain optimal projection conditions. It is especially well-suited for standard cinema environments where consistency in image and sound quality is critical to the viewer experience.
One of the standout features of the Optimizer is its ability to take 144-point simultaneous light measurements across the screen. This dense data sampling allows the system to precisely evaluate brightness uniformity, detect hot spots, and make real-time calibration adjustments. With auto-calibration functionality, the Optimizer can autonomously adjust projector settings, including lamp power and focus, to ensure visual fidelity remains intact throughout each screening—eliminating the need for manual intervention by technicians.
The system goes beyond visuals, incorporating spectral analysis capabilities for all audio channels. This includes volume level monitoring, dB meter validation, and immersive audio checks such as Dolby Atmos™ verification. By identifying malfunctioning sound units or irregularities in the audio mix, the Optimizer helps ensure every seat in the auditorium benefits from a rich and balanced sound experience that matches the high-quality visuals on screen.
With remote connectivity features that integrate into Network Operation Centres (NOC) or Theatre Management Systems (TMS), the Optimizer is ideal for premium screening rooms, VIP auditoriums, and any high-sensitivity projection setups. It is particularly valuable in motorised or multi-setup environments where light uniformity is a recurring challenge. By automating complex calibration tasks, the HSG Labs Optimizer delivers operational efficiency and consistent excellence in digital cinema presentation.
