Checker

Product Variants

Cost-effective mobile device for brightness and audio checking for audio video projection system.

The HSG Labs Checker is a brightness and audio checking device for Cinema Owners, Technical Teams, Managers and Staff. Simple and easy to use, the HSG Labs Checker is a point and click device with an intuitive user interface designed for users with varying levels of technical expertise.

Capable of measuring brightness levels from 0 to 40 foot lamberts (fL), the Checker offers real-time feedback that supports tasks like new lamp installations, routine maintenance, and compliance checks.  It’s equally effective in 2D and 3D projection environments, including the ability to take measurements through 3D eyewear.

With the AV1 or AV3 models, the Checker is capable of displaying the decibel levels of a given speakers, display the spectrum (10-bands) and perform the A/V sync pop test (AV3 only) using approved test patterns.

AV2 model Checker is luminance only, no audio features are included.

The unit itself is battery powered and features a easy to read LED digital display.  The battery life on the Checker is more than 4 hours with an auto-off feature for even more extended life.  The Checker is integrated with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) for 3rd party device integration or data extraction.
